How long will my Epoxy floor last?

Results can vary from company to company, but we offer a limited lifetime warranty & we have customers with floors that are over 10+ years old that still look beautiful.

Will my floor yellow?

No. We only use coatings that are UV stable and designed to prevent yellowing, fading and discoloration of the floor.

How do you prep the concrete?

We start every flooring job by diamond grinding the concrete slab. This is to ensure the proper adhesion of the epoxy to the concrete, by removing any traces of old coatings, paint, stains, oils and dirt. We also repair any cracks, holes and imperfections to ensure the structural integrity of both the concrete and the epoxy floor.

How should I clean my Epoxy floor?

For garage and basement floors, we recommend you use 5 gallons of hot water per tablespoon of dish soap. You can spot clean with stronger cleaners but do not clean your entire floor with anything that is strong and could leave a heavy residue behind. Also avoid using any abrasive cleaners or abrasive scrubbing tools. Although you will not see any immediate problems, over a ten-year period or longer, this can deteriorate the aesthetic appeal of your floor.

How long will it take to complete an epoxy garage floor?

95% of our residential epoxy floor installs will take 1 day. We ask for 2 to be safe. In some cases it can take up to 3 days.

Will the coating peel up under my car tires?

No. When proper diamond grinding is performed for concrete prep & high quality epoxy coatings and polyaspartic coatings are used, this is never an issue.

Do you offer a warranty?

Offering a 5 year warranty on all installs for all products. We care about the work we do, so we stand with it.

Will my new Epoxy floor be slippery?

Yes & No. They have incredible traction if there is no liquids on the floor. They can be incredibly slippery when there is liquid on the surface. The good news is, we offer a very elegant anti skid additive that can be incorporated in the top coat to create traction in the event you have something wet on the surface.

Will my Epoxy floor scratch easily?

No, they are very durable and are chemically formulated  to hold up against abuse. However they are not bulletproof. We recommend if you ever move anything heavy you do not drag it across the floor. You must use a dolly.
