Our One Day Epoxy Garage Floor Installation Process

1. We start every garage floor installation by mechanically grinding the concrete floor to remove any traces of old coatings, paints, glue, stains and dirt. Mechanical concrete grinding also ensure the correct concrete profile is achieved.

2. Next step is to repair any cracks, holes and imperfections in the floor. This step is crucial in ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of both your concrete floor and new epoxy floor.

3. Once we are happy with the look of the concrete, we move onto installing your new garage floor. We start by applying a primer, followed by an epoxy base coat.

4. Once the base coat is applied, we move onto installing the chosen decorative system. For flake floors, we broadcast polymer flakes at a 100% coverage and for metallic epoxy floors, we apply the metallic pigments.

5. Final step in the garage floor installation is sealing your new floor with an UV stable polyaspartic topcoat. The topcoat is designed to protect the floor from damage, wear and tear, stains and discoloration and yellowing under direct sunlight.
